How hard is it to pull out the a/c heater box out of a 73 charger? I am accumulating the new parts( blower motor, actuators etc) and rebuild kit from DMT. This crap is getting expensive  |

actually I can't find it hard at all. Just remove the glovebox liner and will have the room to remove a bracket there and pull it out after loose all the studs from engine bay side.
No need to remove blower, it will come with the box. Just need to remove the drain hose and the blower cooling duct.
The inner bracket is the last one to be removed ( just in case ) since will hold the weight after get loosen all the nuts from engine bay side. Studs can't hold the weight because will break the box, so this bracket will be the last one

the gas evaporator is INTO the A/C box so needs to be removed to pull out the full box assembly.
EDITING:
when I said GAS I didn't mean FUEL, but REFRIGERANT LOL

Got the a/c heater box out. 47 years of aging definitely attached to the box. Will start cleaning it up and then start installing the new parts as they arrive.
