I don't know how many of you watch Wheeler Dealer's on TV when Edd China was the mechanic. But Edd has a new show on YouTube that I've been following. I find it interesting to watch him work, and it's interesting to see how things are sometimes done a little differently in in Jolly Old England. Here, he's been working on a very rusty old Range Rover that belongs to a friend, and has sat in a garden for years. He's just trying to get it road worthy enough to get it to an inspection station.
The copper nickle line I have seen, though I only learned of it within the last coupl eof oyears. Haven't had a chance to try any of it yet, but anything that's easier to bend and flare, and rots less quickly sounds good to me.
But this idea of annealing the ends....that is something I have NEVER seen, or even heard of. Interesting. If you don't want to watch the whole thing, you can start around the 12 minute mark.
