A '71 R/T maybe? There wasn't a 72 R/T but a Rallye package. I not an expert but I'm pretty sure I've seen the R/T stripe on the later years as alot of people like to make they're cars into R/T's.

It won't meet the upper body lines on quarter panels and doors. It can made to fit, but won't be a straight fit. And the rear end of the stripe will overlap over the body lines noticeably, no matter what.

This stripe add has being made on 73/74 in the past, but you will find while the 71 R/T stripe flows parallel to the body line up at the end, just right underneath it. On 73/74 the upper body line gets a small lift up at the end. You won't be able to sway that there Quarter shape is gets also higher upper body line on 71/72 because the quarter itself is a bit higher at certain areas close to the door jam... 71/72 doors gets the body line crossing one over the other while 73/74 is continued. That area will look weird too, because stripe begins on door above the body line and on the body lines crossfade at door it changes to flow below that body line. Sure will look weird on door too, because the stripe will need to get over the continued body line somewhere into the door.

Note the body lines crossfade on doors on this pic and imagine the stripe flowing throught that crossfade on top first then on bottom. That won't be posible on 73/74 So, somewhere along that upper body line from half of door to rear, the stripe will overlap the body line.
