If you're curious how it's done with the computer cars - LinkOn the one hand, I give Chrysler credit for putting better parts on their cars than GM. For people who enjoy the building side of the hobby and aren't rich, this doesn't sound like the way to go.

It's a lot more work today, with all of the interconnected systems, I'm not real into it, but they sure are nice.

I'm so-so on the Challenger. It's a little chunky or stumpy, the proportions aren't quite right. But, few cars are perfect and I wouldn't call it a bad looking car by any means. Chrysler has made so many I'd even call it one of the more important cars in automotive history, especially in recent times. Which leads to my main problem with owning one, I don't want to ride into town and see five others. I'd rather own my 72, even if it is 50 years out of date. It won't be when I'm done with it.

I'd love to have a new Challenger. Not a perfect car, but none are.
Sadly, where I'm at with other vehicles and bills, I just cannot justify ordering what I want at this time. I'd have to give up an old car (probably the Charger) to make room for it. And it's a new car payment at a time when I can't afford it, and if I do carry another car payment, it needs to be for something all season and that the wife can drive.
But have I spec'd and priced out a nice minty new Hellraisin (Octane Red is a close second) colored R/T with 5.7L and 6 speed, white R/T stripe, houndstooth cloth, std. U-connect 4 radio, sunroof? Oh yes I have. There are a few more options I'd like, but the way they have things packaged, I can't get them (or won't). So I'll have to do the rest with aftermarket parts. If money was no object, I'd want a Scat Pack wide body, as I think they just look that much better. You can get aftermarket look-alike flares, but they don't attach the same, and I'm sure the results are not as good as the factory pieces.
