Put in unilite distributor and now factory tac wont work. Any ideas

Contact the manufacture and ask what their fix is for the problem. If they don't have a plan I am sure someone makes an adapter to make new dist work with old tach. I have seen the device on a jeep with a corvette engine and transmission yesterday.

MSD makes the tach adapter for their products. That could work if they don't have their own

Just for fun (I have a strange sense of what is fun), I called the Mallory / Holley tech line. He aid the Unilite is, functionally, just a std. distributor. More nicely made, better materials, yada yada yada. But it provides the same signal output to the tach as the stick distributor. So you would have to double check your connections, wiring, and tach function. He said the only time an adapter or converter is needed is when you have a multi-spark box (think MSD).
