Good stuff! Makes me want to take my 340 apart. A failed core plug on the back of the engine (the ones that were new and shiny on this engine) is what took my car off the road in 1982.

I'd like to stop taking mine apart (and especially cleaning/refinishing it) and have it running again. But I will now go pull the steering column . . .

Keep pluggin' away Jeremy! Not that bad of a job pulling it out. Just make sure the seat is out, makes it a lot easier than contorting your body.
