Who is driving these things?! Doug Demuro nearly lost a Hellcat Challenger in one of his videos. Doug is an experienced drag racer and I doubt the traction and stability control on these 2000+ HP cars is better than what the Challenger had. I keep seeing these 2000hp builds come up in my YouTube feed, are there that many pro-level drivers out there? I wouldn't get behind the wheel of one of these machines without a serious commitment to building and maintaining my driving skills, and I'm not willing to spend that much time on it.

I'll have to check this out later. But yes, on the street, way more than you can ever safely plant or use.

It sounds like a lot for a full on drag tire. You would need a funny car/top fuel type tire, and I'm guessing those don't handle well, so what's the point in a street car? It's nice for a YouTube thumbnail, but I don't want to build it.

Way to much HP for me to even think about. Probably the safest place to open up one of these monstors would be eastern Montana where its flat for 3 days

I see them cutting loose on the interstate on YouTube, in traffic. How deep into the throttle they're going, I don't know, but one doesn't easily smoke a Nissan GT-R like it's nothing.
