I have a 1974 Charger SE that I'm restoring. She's a budget build, and I'm hoping to reuse most of the interior. Can I have some input as to how repainting the interior pieces went for some of y'all?

Here is a FLICKER link to a slideshow I did a few months ago. www.flickr.com/photos/134515583@N07/albums/72157677814358160Rome through there and you'll see lots of interior and exterior things I changed colors on. The interior things (minus headliner) were done using Dupli-Color Cloth and Vinyl spray coating. used their primer/bonder for foundation. I'm very pleased with the outcome. A side note... If the plastic is dry and chalky, don't waste your money and time. Just replace it. My bucket seat backs and front kick panels continued to flake away and eventually had to be trashed.

As goldfish stated, if the plastic is chalky and dry, you will need to purchase replacement pieces. Of course nothing is cheap anymore unless you find something decent at a swap meet.

I repainted mine with SEM paints and they've held up well.

From my resto nine years ago (can't believe it's been that long.) Some interior color change. I lightly went over the panels with a scotchbrite pad on some of the scratches and followed the SEM procedure, here are some of the results: Went from Black to White.

Everything in the picture except the seat covers is SEMs.
