See the thick, black foam gasket around the box-to-cowl area? I think there should be a hook type thingie that goes up into the cowl to support it. Should be a hex-head machine screw with a slot that goes through the front of the box into the hooky thingie. Cable operated flap is also correct for Non-A/C box.

Q-Man.....You are 100% right those 72 pictures are of a NON AC heater box.......I was getting confused looking at the 71 box....OK so now I know how it goes together... I have to get a thick gasket seal to apply to that area and That Hook Thingie (love technical words ) that supports it is there on mine....so it must go up and hang from the inside lip of the cowl opening....... Cool Thanks for The Pictures Eck, seems you came thru again and I didnt even realize it!!.. And Q-Man thanks for pointing out another Duh moment for me! Its Friday night and I will spend the evening at my shop...hooking up the box and maybe figuring out some underdash wiring....
