Nacho, my '71 SE has a knob similar to the one in the picture, but according to the Owner's Manual, you pull out on the switch to activate the flashers. I've never had to use mine, but the switch was in the inward position, when I went out to check it...Brian

maybe is a second half 71 year production... maybe you could say I'm mad, but are your seat backs with big release button and hinge covers separated from seat backs panels or small release button and one piece seat back panel ?

Nacho, my seat hinge cover is part of the seat back. My car was produced in Feb.

My 71 has the PULL OUT flasher switch and one-piece seat backs.
A friend has a 71 Road Runner with the metal side covers and big seat release buttons. It's an early 71 thing. ALL the 70 B & E bodies are like this. Most likely, the pics you have were made before production started.

and is accomplished with 6 bows headliner I guess....
I just wanted to get the conclusion first half of 71s were still with 70 parts, INCLUDING the turning switch...
a friend of mine with a Charger 70 is needing the turning switch, and knowing now earlier 71 production ( and still some mid year production ) used the same push in switch, will enlarge the posibilities to find one... yeah, right
