i finally give up trying to make my .509 cam work with my sick pack i basically tried everything from changing power valve to drilling holes on the center carb. still cant get it to idle right and cant get to stop running rich at idle. my question is this, can anyone help me choose a cam for the six pack something better than stock, enough vacum for the booster, something that idles right , and spcially something that would help me with that rich at idle smell ... thanx in at advance specs 446,10.5 to 1 kb pistons, 906 heads no hardened valve seats , mp ignition , hokker headers ,727,accel ss/coil, accel ss/ wires

The 2 440-6 Pack Chargers I have here, I am using the Mopar Performance Hydraulic Cam set, it is a 284 Duration, 474 Lift and a 110 Centerline.
This is as far as you go without starting to have problems, and staying under the hood. Great Sound, Great Bottom End and Mid-Range performance. Does not affect Vacuum systems at all. I am also using the same Cam on a 70 R/T 440 Single 4BBL.
You can buy the Cam from Summit Racing. Part # is DCC-4452993 and it is $169.88
