sound like a nice build. I also got the 7 quart oil pan and stroker windage tray. It took some cutting on the tray to clear the oil pick up tube. I hope yours is bent in different places Mine was the "500" kit. I didn't have any block clearance issues. Looking forward to the numbers and further build posts Good luck Roy

Hotrodder, I got the stroker windage tray also. Like the web site says: "if used with internal pickup tubes some modification and/or clearancing may be required"
The pickup that came with the 7 quart sat right in the middle of the tray. My "clearancing" may have taken a little more that absolutely required ;D

Just so it is clear to anyone reading this, and as much as I can tell you have put a lot of thought, time, and money into it, it is NOT a PROVEN engine combo--yet--even though it is in the Proven Engine Combo section.
I just don't want anyone to think that your combination of choices has been proven (by you) as something guaranteed to work as you hope it will.
Not that this isn't an interesting thread (because it is!!), but in keeping with the idea of the Proven Engine Combos idea of this section, I DO hope you diligently keep us informed up to and after you actually run it!!
I would hate for something--anything--to go wrong with the results of your build, but I would also hate it if someone else followed your lead and ended up ALSO having the same problems that you might possibly encounter.
Perhaps--for the future--engine combo threads that haven't been proven as yet but are still in the planning/building stages should be prefaced (first sentence) with "This combo has not as yet been proven by me" or similar words to that effect.
Again, HR, I just don't want anyone "following the lead" on any threads in this section that haven't yet been proven by the author--original poster--of the thread...after all, that's the original idea for the whole section.
I believe that's why Pete underlined "proven" in the title section for Proven Engine Combos.
Thanks for your understanding, &--of course--Good Luck with your build, Hotrodder!! (I look forward to the day you are tearing up the mean streets of Georgia with it powering that 72 Charger SE!!) #2Thumbs# #2Thumbs# Jer.
