I've got my doors and front fenders back on but I wouldn't say they're perfectly aligned. The passenger fender and door seemed to be aligned better than the driver's side. I rebuilt the hinges and there's no slop in either side. It appears I got the driver's side door perfectly aligned in the body and it closes as it should. I have a 72 or 73 fender on the passenger side which mounts up just how it should. I got a salvageable driver's fender off of a 74 which was better than my original. But I noticed when I went to reinstall it, there is no threaded hole on the underside for the top corner stud. Can I fix this? I wonder if it's what's causing alignment problems. Also I don't if this makes a difference but only the front end of the car is jacked up. Will the doors and fenders move a little when it's dropped down and the engine is put in? Should I align the door first or the fender? I'll mess with them one more time, but I don't want to have to remove them ever again, so I want to make it right.
