How should it be the correct battery hold down strap ? I have seen 2 kinds, one simply with eyelet ends and then a separated bracket to attach to inner fender, and one complete one piece assembly with inner fender extra bracket attached. what should it be the right one, IF THERE IS a right one beside that... are they with regular nuts or buttefly kind ?

My understanding is that 1971 had the hold-down without an attachment to the inner fender; 1972-up had the hold-down with the integrated bracket to attach to the inner fender (top pic). Regular nuts, no wing nuts...

My question is because I got a separatelly bracket from a donor car with pentastar and NN on it, and I have seen the same on some engine bay pics, but dunno why that diff setup on some cars.
Dunno why too about what is better betwen both... attached or not ( but ready to add )... Thinking on the extra bracket attached would mean MORE TO REMOVE IN CASE OF NEED. for a whlie separated bracked allows you keep that on inner fender and remove the rest
