I replaced the under-dash wiring harness on my '73 a few years ago & may have goofed big time while hooking up the wires back into the plastic connector for the blower fan switch! Now I only have high speed, and it get a bit too chilly in there when I run the air.
Does anyone have any info on the correct color code & wiring position in the fan switch connector so I can get it hooked back up properly? Thanks!

A/C blower switch works together with the function switch. Once you set A/C on ON, no matter if A/C, Max A/C or Vent, then automatically low speed is setted. You can in fact UNPLUGG the lever fan swicth and still will be Low speed since is setted by default, splicing the ON switch directly to higher resistance prong on A/C box. When you put the switch on medium or high speed, then input source is routed to low resistance in box, or directly from selector switch up to blower, BUT STILL low speed prong ( high resistance )is getting power, since again, of course this section of resistor gets power by default on ON position of A/C control function selector. However, Heat and Defrost function only have one speed and send power from A/C control switch directly to resistance box to a MED resistance prong. Doesn't pass throught lever swicth.
