I replaced the dash wiring harness & ignition switch in my Charger a few years ago & now I have to "jump" posts at the starter relay on the firewall to get it going.
Through "process of elimination" I want to determine where my problem is. Is there a way to test the ignition switch at the plug under the steering column? What wires should have continuity when the key is in the "start" position?
I suspect a possible bad Neutral safety switch, but want to make sure all else is working right too.
Thanks in advance for any helpful input!

If you want to discard the NSS, just ground the G prong on relay and try to start with key. If starts then is NSS damaged, loosen plug or broken brown traced yellow wire coming from NSS.
From ignition switch, on start position wires that works are brown what runs directly to coil bypassing ballast and yellow wire what only function is make works the starter relay.
Blue wire is also backpowered throught ballast but not because the ignition switch continuity. Red is allway powered. Black is accesories.
So on "cranking function " only wire undercolumn that works with starter relay is yellow.
If you get 12 volts on yellow wire on start position and ground on G prong ( parking &/or neutral ) and still don't crank with key, the relay is damaged.
