For a front (chin) spoiler for our 71-74 Chargers? Any input appreciated, especially from those who have actually bought one (although all the "I know a guy who knows a guy whose Mother bought one" stories will be appreciated as well!) Thanks guys, Jer.

First place Auto Products 6495 Chesham Dr. N.E. Canton OH 44721 [330] 493-1420
I bought a new Repop front spoiler for my 71 Super Bee from them as a Christmas present to myselfe. It is perfect, can't tell it from original, even has mopar part# as original [approved by chrysler] paid $169 on ebay plus $20 for shipping, got it in 2 or 3 days. I highly reccomend this place. They also sell the Go-Wing. Ray

Regardless of vendor, do not try to save a few bux and buy a fiberglass repro.

I saw the fiberglass ones, don't like them, the one First place auto products sells is the exact same one that's $210 from Year One. Ray

I bought a new Repop front spoiler for my 71 Super Bee from them as a Christmas present to myself. Ray, the question is, did you wrap it up and put it under the tree for yourself too? Seriously...so theirs is a plastic part, not fiberglass? I take the factory part was plastic as well?

Yes the factory part is plastic. Fiberglass aftermarket ones are flat as a board, plastic ones follow the contour of the car, not hard to tell them apart. This repop is perfect, put them side by side and you can't tell the difference.[except one isn't cracked in half]. It even comes with the hardware kit that matches the original fasteners! Daughters snuck out to the garage to see it on Christmas morning as it wouldn't fit under the tree. Ray

"Super Duper info, Ray....do they have a Web Site, or do you know their EBAY User ID? Thanks for your input and everyone else's....anybody else had any success with other non-fiberglass front spoiler vendors? And just to confirm, the spoiler and hardware is a complete package, right? I won't need to buy anything else?jer.

Their web adress is www.fpap.com When spoiler arrived I was surprised to get hardware, so it must be a package deal. Their ebay user id is firstplaceautoproducts , I just logged into my feedback to find it. By the way there's pictures of my 71 Super Bee on www.DodgeCharger.com page 69 of "Got a picture of your Charger Post up" also "71Super Bee V2 Orange with Orange/Black interior-Need info" . my 77 Daytona is on there for sale too, selling to finish the 71, I will replace the 77 with a 73-74 SE later. I purchase the front spoiler and the rear gull wing from "Jacksautoparts" in New Jersey. It does come with all the mounting hardware. The only problem I had was Buster Brown breaking the rear wing several times before they could read the fragile warning on the box ;D I just mounted the chin spoiler to the front valaince to drill the holes before she went for final paint and my box is also from First Place.
