I can't remember how I took off the fuse block from inside the interior. I'm putting my dash harness back in and I'm having trouble getting the fuse block to stay on the firewall. I can't remember if it had nuts securing it to the firewall from the outside or not. Because all I remember is the long coarse screws that held it to the firewall from inside, but there's no threads in the firewall. I was able to replace the seals with no problem and install a new A/C harness so now I need to reinstall it up in the dash. I don't know if I have the fuse block installed upside down or not, but at this point the plug in transistor is on the top. Is that right? For some reason everything is lining up except the speaker plug is like it's too short. So can someone tell me how the fuse block mounts on correctly? There's no mention of how to remove it from the firewall in the 73 service manual and no photos of installation in the parts catalog.

The fuse box and bulkhead only have one position. The bulkhead itself has a tab to match with a notch on firewall. Also as you noticed does it have two long screws what keeps the bulkhead and an extra collar assemblied together to fit on firewall... the fosebox attachs on to bulkhead assembly also on only one position, with horn relay on top
Keep everything together and fit on firewall somehow matching notch and screw holes with complete assembly, then use two 7/16" nuts. Normally they are selftapping nuts kind with a washer on same nut.
I hope what I told is enough clear
what speaker plug ? speaker plugs has nothing to do with underdash harness or assembly, is separated one.

I made a mistake it was the radio power wire I thought didn't reach. I forgot the speaker plugs into a plug made into the radio. Now I've got the fuse block on using the screws and two nuts with lock washers I found. There's a couple of plugs that I'm not sure what are. I labeled everything I could before putting it in the dash. I used the factory wiring diagram. But on the driver's side where the emergency brake pedal is, I have nothing to plug into the emergency brake switch. It looks like it takes a bullet connection, but I have no wires cut or not plugged in on that side. There is also a plug in the kick panel hole on the driver's side it's a large multiple wire gray connector that I don't see anything to plug into. What could that be? I have one wire to the right of the instrument cluster that I labeled seat belt relay, but I don't have the relay. Then on the far passenger side bolted to the metal dash frame is a switch similar looking to the A/C switch. What is that switch?

Is around the dash frame ground terminal wire ( eyelet with teeth ). There is also a plug in the kick panel hole on the driver's side it's a large multiple wire gray connector that I don't see anything to plug into. What could that be? that plug is known as "waffle" terminal LOL. Rear harness is the one that plugs there. I have one wire to the right of the instrument cluster that I labeled seat belt relay, but I don't have the relay. there are some on ebay. Well dunno rmemeber if was there where I saw them or somewhere else Then on the far passenger side bolted to the metal dash frame is a switch similar looking to the A/C switch. What is that switch? pics will be helpfull. I don't think is original.
