I went ahead and put in the gauge cluster, even if I find out what that white wire goes to, I should be able to still get to it under the dash. I forgot how the radio goes in. Actually I never had a radio in mine when I got it. I know theres a bracket that bolts to the dash frame bar. I have two spare brackets which I think are for the radio. One side has a cut-out and the other side has a hole for the stud on the dash frame. I can't find an illustration in the book to help.

If you ever do this again, I bet you will bag, tag, and label everything. Don`t feel bad.......I spent 2 hours looking for the *@#*^?!! brake booster for the car I am working on. It turned out to be in the trunk. Another 2 hours looking for the trans x-member bolts that were sitting in a bucket inside my garage, not even 15 ft from the car. The radio bracket mounts to the frame bar, the slotted end slips over the stud on the side of the radio. 1 bolt holds radio to cluster frame, I usually take out the ashtray and receiver to access that bolt. I believe that bolt has a 3/8 head.

side screw to cluster frame is 1/4" head but I never mount that screw just because I don't want to remove the ashtray reciever everytime I need or want to remove the radio. Untill I decide my car is done at least.

I was able to figure that out just by trying but I didn't have a small enough nut for the top stud. Now how to you mount the A/C control bracket? I can't figure out how it mounts to the control unit or to the dash frame.
