I've got almost all of the headliner trim back up around the windows and the roof. But I can't figure out where the screws for the roof rail side trim goes. These are the two metal pieces that have the clips on the back of them to hold it to the outside of the roof rail lip. But there is also two screw holes on them. And I've got 4 news screws in my interior screw kit for them. But there's no where for the screw to screw in when they are installed. They stay up fine with just the clips holding them on. But I'd like it to me secure with the screws. The plastic windshield post trim goes underneath the front lip of the metal roof rail trim, but there's no screw hole in the roof for it to screw into. I felt all around for them. Is there suppose to be some kinda of speed nut on the back of the trim to accept the screw?

yes there is some notches on roof rail to screw them, is hard to find and fit thought!!!!
They are notches and not HOLES because molding aligment purpouse.
Plastic molding does have the square hole to give the room to molding screw, nothing more, no fastener there.

I see the notches in the roof rail. But it won't hold because there's no threads for the screw to go in. I could have the wrong screws in my interior screw kit. They are like 1 1/2 inches long fine thread, phillips screw head. Are my covered sail panels suppose to be vinyl? The one's I have are like a fine fabric covered.

the screws are selftapping ones, they will open the thread on notches, but it should be already an enlarged area on notches because I guess it had already the trim on before !!!
screws for those are THE LARGEST ONES of all the kit as far I know and guess, but definitelly they are selftapping kind
Sail panels are not covered on WL21 and WH23 they are simply plastic molded., just fabric/vinil covered on SEs. I think same headliner non perforated material, but not sure... never have seen an SE personally.

Do you have a picture of the roofrail trim screw? Because I think the one in the kit is wrong. I never had the original ones to go by. Also I see the notch in the front, but not in the rear. I'm replacing the roofrail weatherstripping too, do I need to have that piece on before?
