Ohhhh Baaaaawwwwb...Yoo-Hoo #WaveHi# You also will need to add something they call "bucket seat reinforcement plates" if your car is an original bench seat car. (Tom will correct me if I'm wrong). But, it is my understanding that there isn't a problem when going from bucket to bench (other than adding 4 rubber plugs on the inside holes), there is however a stress factor that is introduced when converting the other way. Hence the reinforcement plates...which by the way I have seen ARE available from quite a few vendors. Reviving an old thread, I know Bob, but here's a listing for the reinforcing plates I was telling you about: cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=160197863131Just in case you're still planning on changing that beautiful Brougham seat of yours. [Prolly has a folding center armrest, too, huh Bob!] Why are you even thinking of buckets?...."following the herd"?

I always prefered the bucket over bench whenever possible. I'm not saying they are more comfortable but look much better. From a distance mine looks like buckets because of the high backs. If I ever come across a cheap set with good rails, I will probably recondition and install. It's hard to find the right color green to match the whole interior. There was a beutifull green complete set on ebay awhile back but shipping would have killed me. Patience is the key. Some of my best deals were because I was just plain patient.

Gonna be kinda hard for the grandkids to sit next to Grandpa, with bucket seats Bob...ever think of that? [I always knew you were a patient...I just never thought you would admit it....what Sanitarium did you graduate from?]
