Is the correct back spacing for rear rims on 73/74 Chargers 4.5" backspacing?
What is a good front end back spacing? 3.75"?
I'm ordering rims and i was wondering what some of you all have put on for rims. I want the tires and rims to be inside the fenders.

I wish I could tell you more about the dimensions of the rims on this car. If I can get my Gumetal Charger to look half this mean, I'll be a very happy boy! It belongs to a member here, but I can't recall who.

I remember this car, its was in a magazine i have. Nice ride for sure! I just want some nice width int he back tires with out having them hit the fender lip or leaf springs. I guess i'll have to wait measure myself this weekend some time but i hoped maybe someone knew already.

back spacing on my 73 se is 4.25, that is because of the 15x7 rim on the se and maybe some other models used a raised lip on the inside of the rim to protect the mounting screws for center caps. I have been going crazy for several days now rearing post and info about back spacing, offset and different tire size .

"stuga" i hear ya, I just haven't gotten a lot of time lately to get working on my car. There was a wicked site that a guy had a 73 charger fit the biggest tire he could on it. He did all the hard work and found out the exact rim back spacing, tire height and width. Not just the measure the inner fender area, he put it on a drove the car and got the real deal. I saved the site but on my parents computer and its crashed so the site is lost lol.
