I have a edelbrock 750 and I have vacuum hooked up on drivers side of carburetor. I had some problems the last couple of weeks that had me tearing top end apart but never found any real answers. I did find that my pickup on electronic distributer was way out of spec. I think I have this figured out but now am unsure what side vacuum advance hooks up as web has both sides!!!! Thanks This is for a 400

It should be hooked to ported vacuum which is the passenger side nipple. I was taught that the vacuum advance should be hooked to ported vacuum(no vacuum present at idle) to bring the advance on gradually as the rpms speed up.
