Thanks for the offer but I remedied my problem by drilling holes in the galvanized steel very slowly. Also I believe that 72 signals are different in the way they are mounted. 73/73 are screwed in from the top. Thanks Dan

71/72 are with stud and nut, with smoother top... 73/74 are with chromed seltaping screws fit from top and squarer shape

Dan, I'm not certain here, but I'm going out on a limb and guess that Nacho wants you to use a Speed Nut... Just a guess.

YEEEAH LOL... why you have to create for something is already created?!!, and even better, with the shape to hold it with a wrench or socket
single thread fastener suggested by Dave is a great option too, since basically is the same way to attach.

I learned something off of this thread, Nacho...for most of my 52 years I've been calling that a "clip-ee nut thing-a-ma-jig"...now I know it's a Single Thread Fastener... I made a thing out of galvanized steel for it so now it is nice and snug. That stuff is hard I used a lot of oil and the drill bit was blue by the end. I don't need no stinkin speed nut.
