...9 1/4 is Mopar piece, not a Dana... You're right Nacho...I thought I remembered it being a Dana 60 from DynoDave's chart, but it was the 9-3/4....I was wrong....My Bad! (Do I get 1/2 point for being right about the bolts and removable cover?...why, oh why is my 8-3/4 the only one w/o a removable rear cover??) ;D ~Jer~

why, oh why is my 8-3/4 the only one w/o a removable rear cover??) ;D ~Jer~ Dunno, but I preffer in that way ( banjo type ), because: 1-. harder to get a leak because bended cover. 2-. easier to fit without use a gasket, just using RTV silicone is enough. 3-. NO DAMN C CLIPS INSIDE TO REMOVE AXLES. 4-. safer system. Is virtually imposible to loose an axle on the road, becasue broken C clips ( I think I have seen around 6 Phords with axles on the road and cars on the side of road. 5.- if you need or want to check axle conditions, don't need to drop completelly the oil

hi the 7.1/4 8.1/4 9.!/4 have C CLIPS
the dana 60 dos not have C CLIPS
i have 9.1/4 for parts with 3.55
