Was searching around to find some new hood hinges for my 72. Have a ok set but the are getting a bit worn. But there isn't any replacements to buy, unless you get a used pair but seems little point to replace a used pair with a used pair. Some suggest that you can use the E-body hinges. They do look the same but....any ideas any one?

USD 340 motivates to have slightly wobbly hood for now.....

Question: I was trying to adjust my hood the other day and I noticed that the back of the hood near the windshield doesn't go all the way down. It still needs at least a half inch before it's flush with the fenders. The hood sounds like it's hitting something, but it just won't go all the way down. I checked clearance underneath and nothing is in the way.
I just looked at the link above and I noticed that the Hinges on my 72 are in fact, the picture of the 73-74 Hood Hinges, someone must have switched them at some time. Is there a real difference as far as operability? I would imagine they are interchangeable. Any thoughts on this would be great as not being able to close my hood is a pain in the butt.

as far I know they are interchangeable, although I can't remember the difference they have

looking at SMS pics, my 74 has 71/72s... with teeth and they are from factory like that
