Previous owner had hood pins on the hacked up hood on the car. Getting a new hood soome and dont want the pins anymore. I need to see pics of how the latch and lever are located and connect. Not a cable release. Thanks

Hopefully your new hood will have the latch on it. It adjusts front to back to line up with the lever. Now the lever itself only mounts 1 way. Is it on the car?

Sorry, I guess I miss termed what I am looking for. I am looking on the body side, not the hood side. If you look at post #13 on this thread wichargerguy.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=paint&action=display&thread=4731. I guess i meant the hood release handle. I have the "clamp" if you will that mounts to the support, but the rod that comes with it is abot a foot long. , and I dont see how a release handle could mount anywhere it reaches. The clamp pulls to the passenger side to release, I am guessing that it is correct. A final question would be how many different release handles, not including the remote, are there? I have one that is short and two nuts on it that two bolts screw to.

Those are AMAZING pictures, Tim...
What kind of camera (and/or lens & film, if applicable) do you have that enables you to take such quality close-ups?....
If you don't mind my asking.
Jer.

Not at all. I think most folks forget to use the macro setting when doing close-up photos. When using auto-focus digitals, most will not focus properly on subjects if they're within a couple feet from the lens. Remembering to switch the camera to macro mode switches the auto-focus programming to allow the camera to focus correctly for close-ups. The other thing worth a mention is the 3.3 mega-pixel spec. of the camera. You don't need a super-high pixel count camera to get good shots to use online. If you're going to print and enlarge, that's where higher pixel counts get you return on investment... #Twocents#

OK I have been looking and found one part, but when I sent the order it came back stating that they no longer had the part. Anyone know where I can get the Hood Release Handle Part# 3508330??? "The Bay" has one, but I really dont need NOS.

NOTE...
71/72s lever location differs from 73/74s. lates are just at a side of headlights, attached to the bumper reinforcement itself
