Shift linkages from 72 challenger to 73 charger?

So Im doing a floor shift setup in my 73 ........and I have the floor shift column, shifter, console, and the dog bone which is supposed to be from a 73 . I need the linkages next. Im getting the shifter/console brackets from a 72 challenger.

Will the linkages from the challenger work as long as I have the right dogbone? I can supply pics of what I have if that helps identify anything? Any help appreciated

I think(not 100%) the shifter linkage might be different, if the column is not a 73 or 74, that will be a problem.

The column I have is from a 73 according to the guy I got it from

A '73 will have the steering coupler(rag joint) at the very end of the shaft where it connects to the steering box. A '74 rag joint is mounted near the firewall.

you know what, I have 3 different charger columns and I don't think ANY of them have that piece intact...and thats expensive
