Uh, the first filter removed in the video...... no mess if you drain the oil first

Uh, the first filter removed in the video...... no mess if you drain the oil first I guess I didn't take it that way. I think there is still some oil that spills past the filter as it is taken loose, it's just that the cup portion of the socket catches it...you can see him pouring oil out of the socket after he remove the drained filter.

Good idea but most cars don't have the room for that bulky filter.
