One of the Great Movies of all Time... "That's Frahn-ken-steen" "Frau Bluchert....(Horse whinnies)" "Oh sweet mystery of life at last I've found you" "Puttin' on the ritz!" "Abby....Abby Normal" "Put the candle BACK." "It's Alive!....alive!" AND my favorite:"Hump?....What hump?"

Eck, I apologize for the hijack!! You see how these guys get when you give them any opening whatsoever? You should never have posted the mirror image pic, buddy!! What can ya do, what can ya do? I try to "keep a tight rein" on their outlandish behavior, but hey, I'm only one guy!! Now, back to your topic, buddy...let me clarify... The average person, when walking around a car (and I stress "average") cannot see both sides of the car at the same time, and while there are many people with a lot of Mopar knowledge, the chances of you having anyone say to you, "Hey, that's not the right fender!," are fairly miniscule (slim). There, is that better? ;D ;D ;D

LOL, perfectly clear now Jer. Thanks.
Although i would have to say that knowing myself, having two different fenders on there would eventually keep me up at night until i just broke own and made them matching fenders one way or the other.

P.S. The mirror image i posted above has one 71 fender and one 72 fender. the drivers side is the 72 fender and if you look close you can see on the door seem where it was torched off of a former race car it is one of the few areas (I'm sure there are many to come) that give me fits just thinking about. the fender is in great shape except for about 1/8 to 3/16 of choppy torch work where the former owner cut it from its original car.

That's one of the most perfect locations for doing a lead repair... unlike plastic filler, if it is done right you will never have to worry about the repair flaking, cracking, or downright falling off!!
