I'm changing the gauges to Autometer Nexus. Only decision is where to mount the 2 extra that I want. Using the large openings for speedometer (electic, not mechanical) and tach. The other 4 are oil pressure, water temp, voltmeter, and fuel level. Since the rallye only has 2 small gauges, I'm undecided about: 1)adding 2 more where the radio has already been chopped up, 2) inside the ashtray (open it to see them vs mount them in place of the ashtray) or least likely 3) bottom of the dash. Roy Have you considered the woodgrain panel on the upper dash? If you don't have A/C, there might be room. Steve

Thanks Odz! Those are much more complete than what I got off EBay & perhaps closer to the correct matte finish as well!!!

How come I've never heard of this before, Cajun Man...and I AM the original Jerry-Rigger/Poor-Boy-It Man...Are you certain that isn't just an old (Cajun) wife's tale? Eagerly awaiting your reply, here, Mr. Brockwood... #PopCorn# #PopCorn# (I suspect you're pulling Multiple Legs Simultaneously...(and at the same time, too!)

Well, I had heard of heating Vinegar (acetic acid) to remove rust but never molasses! Brock, I just took the speedometer out of a rallye cluster if you need another to add to your collection ;D I'm changing the gauges to Autometer Nexus. Roy use a weak solution of muriatic acid and water.......done in an hour, and put the face in acetone paint gone in 1 hour.....don't make it hard

Also a chance to save these pics? Hey guys, blame photobucket for undoing all my pictures through the years. If anyone can recommend a free picture host, I should be able to edit the correct pics back into the old posts.

Hi Brock, Of course we know about the Photobucket deal LOL... Dave already suggested one hosting website somewhere. Myself I'm using postimage.org. But now the board got its own hostage too

Yes, I'm using Flickr now. WAY MORE storage for photos, fast fast fast, few if any ads. I love it. Wish I'd have moved 10 years ago. How to HERE.
