I thought it would be interesting to see our cars in their protected shelter. This is mine. As you can see its tight but I get things done in here when its cold or raining. I actually gained about 5" of space to walk around the front of my car. Now I don't have to walk sideways. My previous car was a 64 impala SS. I had to sell it to get my life long desire for a Mopar. By looking around you can see that half the clutter is kids stuff and storage. My work bench is in front of the car and my tools are also but to the right side. It may be tight but I'm blessed to have easy access to her. Right off my kitchen. I know some folks have to travel to access their cars.

This pic was taken yesterday, to sell an 8.75 rear end....but you can see a little of my Satellite under the tent/shelter. It keeps the car dry and free of pine needles/sap....which is good by me. I put the shelter up in the back corner of my property, nestled behind one of my storage buildings and in front of my privacy fence....so it is not too "noticeable"

Normally where the 67 would reside but the 73 is in there now. 67 is at my son's garage. Hope to extend the garage back this summer. They would be nose to nose but it's better than having to drive to my son's each time I want to do something with either one.

The rolling shell (unibody with rear axle/suspension and front suspension, and decklid), less powertrain, wiring, cooling, all interior including dash, all glass, doors, and hood, bumpers, lights, trim, etc....that shell is stored here (see red star), in another state, 500+ miles from where I live. All the previously mentioned "removed" parts, plus a large collection of additional parts, is here with me in Michigan. One giant, multi-state jigsaw puzzle.

Wow Dave, I'm not sure whether I should feel bad for you because you have to travel so far to get to your car or congratulate you for having 3 Rows of warehouses and a matching parking lot to store your cars .

Ha...I wish I owned that complex. A), I'd be rich, and B), even I cannot collect enough junk to crowd my self out of those old warehouses. But it's safe & secure (on-site management, perimter barbed wire fence, alarm on each building, no one goes in unescorted by security, and no one stays without security. That, and it's less than half what I'd pay for a similar facility here in metro-Detroit. So, there she hibernates, until it's time for it's turn at restoration.
