Anyone have any experience with Bendpak car lifts?
I was looking at the HD-9 four poster for use as a lift and also storage fo my charger and/or challenger.
Thanks,

I bought a bendpak 10,000 lbs, two post lift about a year ago and I love it. A vendor (I believe it was Northern Tools) on Ebay had the best deal at the time. There are a lot of cheaper lifts out there but you don't want to walk under a car that's being held up by a cheap lift. I'm convinced that the only lift that is built stronger than a bendpak is a mohawk lift. Both lifts are overkill for a home lift and the bendpak is about half the price. If the bendpak 4 post lifts are as good as their 2 post lifts you won't be disappointed.

The HD-9 is rated for 9,000. Should be enough. I saw one in the garage of a guy that I bought a car from and it seemed like an excellent product.
He didn't have his posts bolted into the garage, said that was a recommendation from Bendpak. I find that hard to beleive...
His was an HD-9

Mine is a 2 post so i have to bolt mine down. I'm not sure of the 4 post. There are pros and cons to the 2 post and the 4 post lifts. I use it to work on cars (mechanical and body work) so I needed the lift to be as least obstructive as possible. But with the 4 post you can store vehicles under it. Like I said, both have pros and cons.

You can find lots of good reviews and comments on lifts at garagejournal.com.
