Forget if i posted an update on my Charger in while, but heres the news.
Got the car running pretty good, used the engine real hard and theres a good ticking sound(rod bearing i believe). Parked the car. been sitting for awhile will no progress on it at all. I've replaced the universals in the drive shaft, currently replacing the pinion seal in the diff and then do an oil change. Drained the oil out of the transmission and it looks grey/red.
At moparfest i picked up a 727sb trans and rebuilt that with a B&M rebuild/shift improver kit. I swapped out the RPM gear change prings for a higher rpm shift while in drive to hopefully about 3500rpm.
I came across a 400ci engine with 727 trans complete. I'm going to rebuild that engine and that transmission and use it in the Charger. I'll be getting engine mount swap kit and i'll be adding super stock rear springs along with frame connectors to tie things up better. I'm planning on ordering fiber glass front/rear bumpers eventually.
The car should be completed 100% by spring. Oh and i gotta add a brake booster int here also, just to make it slow down a bit better lol.

On the way home from my friends body shop after oiling the old beast was smoking quite a bit while burning off the excess oil that happened to get in the exhaust. At the first light in town a old fellow pulled up beside me in the left turn lane, put his window down and said "I know Mopars smoke a bit, but that's ridiculous!" We both had a good laugh at my cars expense ;D
