Where did you get the emblems that had pins on the back? The ones I ordered from Mopar were stick on. Were they metal or plastic?

My son and I got my black 72 out of hibernation today. Put 5 gallons of gas in it, changed the battery, primed the carb.......and it did nothing! I could see that the trans switch was unplugged....but could not get my fat arse under the car to plug it back up. So....I just ran a jumper wire to the starter relay from the batt(-) It then cranked.....but no spark. Via troubleshooting (not guessing) , I determined that coil was bad. Went and bought a coil and new batt terminal ends, installed...and she fired right up. Pulled it into driveway, took the R/T hood off....and spent a couple hours cleaning it. Vacuuming leaves/dirt out of cracks.cravices, washing by hand, then hitting it with the pressure washer. Then we put a flat hood on it temporarily. On Thursday, we are going to pull the intake, heads, and exhaust manifolds. It has a bunch of broken exhaust studs...which I want to fix. Going to keep the 318 in it for now. The trans seemed "weak" It pulled...but not like it should.

This was the second time that I had to replace battery terminal ends in the last 3-4 years because of critters (chipmunks I think) chewing the lead terminals. The first time.....they also ate the posts right off the battery!

It's alive! I've never seen a terminal chewed like that. I have a ton of chipmunks, and have had chewed wiring and hood pads, but never lead terminals. So is the R/T hood going on the orange car?

This car will eventually get the PB hood off of my 72 SE. A very straight and rust free PB. The 72SE, I will eventually be selling with the 74 flat hood installed.
The orange car will eventually get the R/T hood or a RamCharger (airgrabber) I have. Actually, I would prefer a standard PB...(for the orange car) so if I can find one at the right price, I might choose that instead.
I simply did not feel like doing two hood swaps today, so for the time being I just put the flat hood on it. The R/T hood that was on it did not have the insert installed, so it was not going to keep the "elements" out. Previously, I had a tarp over the engine...and a car cover over the car to keep the elements from getting thru the hole in the hood.
I did manage to get both exhaust flanges disconnected today without any issues. I am going to try and see what I can do with the broken studs..on the car, but I fully expect that I will end up pulling the heads, to get the broken studs removed. I bought an engine gasket set "just in case" The pass side manifold had 2 broken studs...and a very annoying exhaust leak. So far, 2 other studs on that side have also broken, for a total of 4 broken studs.
If I have to take the heads off, I also will remove the current A/C components.
