-got block bored 020 -got FINALLYYYYYY the crank cut down counterweights and mains to fit, working on balancing now. -got heads already with bigger valves installed after my porting and chamber polish job, ALTHOUGH I didn't like the job. they made 0 degrees cut instead 30 degrees on top cut as I requested. Will give tomorrow to a buddy to check the chamber volume and equalize them -sent the axle to check because it was becoming anoying the " turbine" kind noise.

I touched the car, sat in the seat, and finally looked at the engine. Waiting for the salt season to end!

I touched the car, sat in the seat, and finally looked at the engine. I was so bored in the shop the other day (bored as in 10 years worth of projects to do ahead of me, and not knowing where to start), I actually dug out an old leather bucket, and cleaned/conditioned it. Looked pretty good when I was done.

Just received my rubber over steel valve cover gaskets. After a few honey do's, I hope to have installed and back up and running..... with no leaks.

I had the drivers seat redone and have worked on the rear and front lighting. My car has not seen to road much in the last 30 years.

fighting against machine shops and clearences of engine parts... need to cut the rod journals from 0.010 to 0.020 because on front journals had LOT of oil clearence.
I don't think will need to rebalance the crank for that... or do you think I should ? If journals are every 90ยบ cut the same, balance should remain the same, right ?
also found the block deck higher on rear than front in both sides... around 0.0075" on one side and 0.009" on the other side. Tring to keep all the pistons to deck clearence 0.016-0.017 all around. I hope machine shop will be able to make that.
NA WITH ALL THE JOB I HAVE HAD LATELLY, I haven't able to take care by myself every detail.
( I haven't forgotten the bumper fillers stuff guys, don't worry, is just on Stand-by status )
