As per my latest post I had a black out hood and stripes added.....next will be to replace the wood grain dashboard ac vent insert . With one that has the Charger S/E on it. I hand painted the silver trim and emblem. youUpload.org/gkqn16n

It's an original piece from an eBay buy. I just cleaned it up and took my time hand painting the perimeter of the vents , emblem , and the outer edge of the whole piece.

Very pleased with today's work. First I replaced my coil, distributor cap, rotor and plugs (well, six of them ... read on ...). Plug leads were already new. Then I hooked up the vacuum gauge I'd bought this week and set my idle mixture screws properly. Then played with the timing a bit. I can't believe the difference this has made to how my car idles, it's smooth, steady and almost too quiet - until you stand behind it So of course I had to go for a drive. I don't think I could ever get tired of driving this car. Today in the space of half an hour I got smiles, waves, thumbs-up and 'hang loose' signs and all manner of positive karma. Then it started raining so, since I still have no side windows, I went home

Of course I forgot to add the reason why I only changed six plugs.
Thanks to the headers I can't get the spark plug socket onto the plugs at cyls 5 and 7. Not even close. Anyone got any bright ideas??!!

I haven't had a chance to install my vents A C vents yet. You have me second guessing installing headers . Yup , these chargers do get a lot of attention . I used to get a lot of attention with my old ride but this thing really turns heads.

Went to a car show on private property last night. On the way out of there is a slight up grade and then it goes down about 1/8 mile I then proceeded to put on a smoke show It probably took off 15,000 miles of rubber The 440 is running very nice in this warm weather with the Crane rockers that were just installed
