I'm half asleep! What did you mean by "no more bumper fillers"? You still re-install the front lower valance, correct? Which thread are you referring to?

The last cruise of last year I found out when I filled it up the gas tank gasket was leaking so I ordered up a new gasket for 11 bucks included shipping and slide into place today. I used slide guide which made it easy when you brace yourself for the big push.

Got the 72 SE finally loaded onto my car trailer that will be his (his name is Shadowfax II...suck it up Tom) new temp home until he arrives to his point of debarcation at an undisclosed location back East for some extensive restorations, renovations, upgrades, and repairs.... Stopping by for a brief visit (and hopefully Shrimp Bisque, Chicken Gumbo, or Jambalaya cuisine) with my 24 Carat Coon-Arsed favorite couple in Loooooooisiana, on my way there and back !! I removed (and sold) the original flat hood, as there will be....wait for it....a POWER BULGE HOOD...YAY....waiting for it at the aforementioned site. The front tires and rims are only temps I just put on until I get the new Hankook 205/70-R14 radials mounted on the Rockets (wannabee Cragars), as I've already done to the rears....got lucky there...the "new" Hankooks were on Craigslist with less than 200 miles on them, and I "BOBBED" them down to 150 bucks for the set !! I also finally got back my "vintage" original California black and yellow FULLY RESTORED set of license plates...I only installed the rear (we have to run front AND rear here in this "golden" state) for now, as--even with the aluminum diamond plate rock guard/air dam on the front of the trailer--I would probably still (with my luck) take a direct rock hit smack center in the newly restored license plate !! I'm debating on whether I should install the new Canadian made (Spectre?...I forget) fuel tank and the new fuel sending unit before the trip, thereby making one (hugely) space available in the cabin....if I DON'T install it now, I will have to make room for it along with the tons of other parts I'm loading in him. SOOO...all that's left is chain/strap him down, load him up with parts, replace the trailer plug and install the factory swing-out tow mirrors on/in my 03 Ram Diesel, service the wheel bearings/electric brakes and re-install the aluminum air dam/rock guard on the car trailer, REPLACE THE CAMPER SHELL WITH MY FIBERGLASS LEER BED COVER on the diesel, and... and... oh yeah.....finish moving from across the street.... I will then depart on my much anticipated, sorely needed 4 to 6 week 2014 Jer Across America Tour I (I anticipate and plan for at least 4 more this year)....

Just received the 440 4 speed distributor for the R/T
Going to go through it and lube it up and have it spun on a distributor machine
Have to start thinking which cam I am going to run in the car so they are in perfect harmony

I washed my orange Charger today. I guess I should say that I started washing it.... since it was pretty nasty and I am not done yet. Going to finish it in the morning and take it for a ride. It's been a year and a half since I have drove it. If I get real motivated, I might change the oil tomorrow. I used to put most of my miles on it driving it to work somewhat frequently. Once I quit "working for the man" that stopped. I just need to take it for a joy ride a few times a week. I need to get rid of this basket case 71 Super Bee, so I can get the orange car out of the elements. I also ordered a brand new dash harness for my Satellite. Year one has a 25% off thing going, so I finally splurged. Body and paint can wait...I want to get that car on the road and driving in the next few weeks.

...I want to get that car on the road and driving in the next few weeks. I'm looking forward to a minimum of 5 trips to Little Philly's, 5 trips to the Mexican Margarita Joint, oh & at least an infinite number of trips to the various Waffle Houses in that fine ride... Now do YOUR part and keep that heat and humidity away for a few more weeks, and I'll do MY part & pay for the fuel for those expensive but necessary excursions.... DEAL

As long as we had everything apart to replace the fillers, I repainted the grilles. My wife has become an expert at taping off items for paint. She does good work
