That radio is a nice upgrade. I didn't know they could set it up with the shafts side-by-side. Radio looks great!. So does everything else.

Mine is getting very close, couple more months and I will be cruising... Mine is drivable and I still can't drive it for a couple of months! Lousy winter. I did pick up a non-working cassette player just to fill the empty housing. Needs belts and a good cleaning. Looking for the missing knob and a cable to plug it in and see if the radio works.

Woo Hoo! More sparkly stuff!
Interesting. I had not thought of using the new badges.

I ran masking tape across the tops of the wheel arches, then set the emblem lower by one extra width of tape then two widths forward of the door/fender gap. That way I could easily recreate the spacing on the other side. It places the first R in CHARGER centered over the pentastar (which has been lost and I'm waiting on a new one to come in the mail). I am using the 1st gen Neon pentastar as I think it's much better looking than the "correct" one.
The new Charger badges were about $40 each. Things are pricey. Plus, I've also managed to lose my NOS "Charger/Dodge Division" emblem I had bought for the trunk.

Been awhile since I posted. I took a break on the car for awhile but been starting getting the little nagging things on it knocked out.
This last weekend, I swapped out the cam with a custom grind from Dwayne Porter. I degreed it and the whole 9 yards. I got it broken in this past Sunday and so far so good. It was quite a job but needed to be done. I could never get the motor to stop pinging on hot days when I laid on the gas. Turned out my cam was pretty badly matched to my combo and I was turning 205 psi cranking compression!

Wow! Beautiful! Want to do another one? Wait, I can't have an axle that is glossier than the body of the car. Better go low gloss on mine. I do have an 8.75 that I want to do this with for the Cordoba. It was a from a southern car, so not as pitted as it's northern counterparts. But it will need some love. Allmetal I know. But what is REFACE?
