Oh, OK. I've seen a product that people called "feather-fill". Don't know if that's a brand name or not. But the same thing...a very heavy primer, or spray-able filler for filling small imperfections over large surface areas. Like all products, good when used properly, and for it's intended purpose. I've seen it used to excess.
Nah, I'll tackle the axle one of these days. While the list of things I can do for myself is getting shorter with age, if I can't do that for myself, I should just sell it.

Looks great...I bought mine from a seller on Ebay a while back....installed them in a couple hours, went ok except I did in sunlight on a hot day..
