Picked up my 71 R/T from the place I bought it from. Resumed my resto on my 73 SE also.

Moved to the NC mountains from TX so suspension upgrades were in order. Hellwig sway bars (front and rear), QA1 upper control arms, lowered rear by 1", 17" rims (US Mags "Bandit") and Nitto NT555 G2. The car corners HARD. Yee haw.

Just picked up a 73. Going through it as I can.
Replaced 160 Thermostat with 195. Winterized it for the Iowa Winter as a daily driver. New Belts, PVC and grommet. Tuning the carb to get it right, still need to run a few vacuum lines. Doing door seals today when they arrive. Spark Plugs, wires cap and rotor as well. Basics for now.
Removed the Blankput 8 Track add on and associated wiring. Cleaning.

Welcome aboard Alan.
It's been a LONG time since I've seen a 3rd gen. in daily service around here, especially in the winter.

Dav, Thanks. Used to have my '72 on the road between Imlay City and Flint about 25 years ago. I-69 was a new road then, fun, smooth and relatively straight.

Are you still in Michigan, Alan?
69 is still a great road. Just came blasting through there in our rental Dodge Journey last weekend. They keep it in nice shape, and it's lightly traveled.
