I'm actually gonna take the Charger out today since it's gonna hit 60 today and the sun's out. Have to take advantage of this Michigan weather while it's here. Then back in the garage and go thru the brakes and some electrical bugs.

Are you still in Michigan, Alan? 69 is still a great road. Just came blasting through there in our rental Dodge Journey last weekend. They keep it in nice shape, and it's lightly traveled. Living in Iowa now. Back every few months, hometown is Imlay City between Flint and P.H. Miss those country Salvage Yards.

As I posted ove at DC.com, after months, and I do mean MONTHS of wait and delay, our garage project is finally finished. after we finally got the refinance and all THOSE hoops we had to jump through then all the permits and inspections unbelievable. Then, after the driest summer we have had in 50 years, we had the wettest October here in 114 years, more delays. It was incredible the amount of rain we got. This project should have been done beginning of October but with the permit delays then the rain I finally moved the cars in yesterday 12/1 ! The contractor would start and have to stop work because the yard was flooded or it was raining ... hard. Then we got a snow storm a week ago, like 18 inches! Anyway, I am happy today as all three are tucked away in our Mopar Motel for the winter.

The first gen Charger sure does have a lot more drama going on in the back than the third gen.

Looks great Bob!
I went through many delays and difficulties as my own general contractor, architect, build team leader and general laborer. NOTHING ever seems to go as planned.
I'm sure you will enjoy your new space.

Friday I'm doing Hijackers in the back and KYB G2 in Front. Afterwards taking her up for some new rubber. Looking at the Hankook Optimo in 225/70 R14 and I'll put on the new black chrome spline lugs at that time as well.
Took her to the local tin guy last Saturday to get a write up. I'll be dropping her off in the fall, then from tin to paint. I'm leaning towards a grey like the Dirty Lee grey.

I've searched and found versions (models) of the General Lee in black, white, grey, and chrome. I doubt a chrome General appeared on the show but for all I know the others could have.

Haven't seen much text on it, so just pictures. small article here: fastmusclecar.com/readers-rides/the-dirty-lee-by-jonathan-wheeler/Got the Hi Jackers and rubber on. Took this on my way into work across from the local Dodge Dealer around 4 a.m. Hankooks have been doing great around town, not gone over 55 yet. Have a Mini Starter for an '03 Dakota R/T 5.9 Ready to go in. Been knocking down some of the rust issues. Got the replacement radios from Custom Autosound about ready, waiting on a Package Tray before installing the speakers. A pair of Rockford Fosgate 6x9s. P.O. did a antenna delete that I am currently undoing, so sounds by the time we do the 1st Cars and Coffee in April.
