Just got through replacing the rear axle seals (8.75") and rear brakes. Picking away at it on my days off and after work. New job leaves little time for repairs. Just gotta reinstall the wheels and drop it on the ground. I think that pretty much does it from front to rear. The mechanicals have had a once over. Bought in 2011 and got it roadworthy (tuned, carb rebuilt, thoroughly checked out and replaced a few steering components) by spring of 2012. Rebuilt the front end, front brakes and drove it in 2012. Car wouldn't get out of it's own way in 2013. Rebuilt engine, restored engine bay w/new wiring, new steering gear, ujoints and resealed the trans in 2014. Drove the heck out of it in 2015 & 2016. Stripped and painted the original wheels and got a new set of tires. Replaced leaking axle seals and rebuilt rear brakes this year. Now that the mechanicals are sound hopefully I can get the AC up and running! It's already too hot to be comfortable driving it.

Would love to see a picture of the new engine compartment.

It's always something with an old car. Glad you're keeping after it. And I'm with you on the A/C.

I posted the whole engine bay restoration process on here somewhere but I'm not very good at finding old posts and posting links.

I actually saw and commented on your engine restoration. It looks awsome. Im going to restore mine in the near future. It needs other things first. Your profile shows all your posts. Its been a rough 2 plus years for us. My now 14 year old daughter had to have some major surgeries. She's doing well, thats why im posting more often.
