I'll be making my storage payment tomorrow....does that count? Hey Buddy... Can you pay two of my 5 storage units for me?...I'm good for it!! ;D I think I'll pass, based on your geography. #Twocents# #Twocents# #Twocents# #Twocents# #Twocents# Mine are back home, in big, huge warehouses, strongly built structures sitting on top of 6 foot high platforms of steel reinforced concrete, with alarms on the building, and customers are only allowed in when escorted. The whole place sits behind a barbed wire fence, with management on site. Two cars, $66 a month. ;D And they've been there WAY too long. So while I have a second garage built to move them into, at the rates I'm paying, I'm not moving them until the new place is completely finished.

I may need a storage space or two when the house sells. I'm in Detroit.

Took the exhaust manifolds off to sandblast/paint, then it morphed into valve covers, carb, intake, alternator... it's been a week now and I'm still at it. I had to wait on exhaust manifold bolts from a guy on Ebay. The D@#*ed drivers side studs were rusted to the nuts, and it was time for new ones.

well last saturday sturga came by to get the a/c stuff I had for his car while we were out there talking he notice that the rear of the car looked some what low. this seem kind of strang giving the fact that the engine is out and the springs were replaced last june.
well we gave her a good look and the srings are completely flatened a matter of fact they are bowed the wrong way and there is a little bend on the frt segments from me launching the car hard.
looks like I'm going to need new spring .
so lesson learned buy real mopar springs.
I bought those springs from a shop locally that specalizes in spings, rear ends and drive lines but they do mostly truck and heavy equipment and do not specailize in mopars.
my thought is that they may have sold me spring for a second gen or were for a much lighter car than mine.
good thing we noticed this problem before the 528 goes in I can't emagine what it would have done to those already to weak springs.
any suggestion on spring I have the old fact springs have them rearked or buy new ,or have a set custom made.
also do they make super stock springs for 3rd gens I used them in my coronet and have them in my duster.
car is going to need hight for tire clearance and to keep the 8qt oil pan from hitting every time I go over a bump

Today I smoothed out the cutout in the trunk for the fuel cell sump and shield. Smoothed out some chassis welds so I can paint and take photos of roll cage and chassis mods. Figured out how the factory stripes and Super Bee decal will be blended into the custom hood I built. [hey Jer, Inhaled more bondo dust]

Just wanted to know what kind of work guys are doing to their cars....sounds like from What I read here that there are allot of cars Under construction or modifying.....Me I worked on more body work, I have half of the car ready for paint now and was working on straightening out my latest purchase off Ebay...a dual cutout rear valance, was a little more bent up then the seller had stated.....oh well it was a good price and hard to find...I will post pics of the finished part soon... So what have you been up to? Well, last weekend I jumped in the Bee and did a wedding for some friends, then drove it around Sydney for a few hours. This weekend I put in my R/T tail lights, redid the wiring and then took the Bee for a drive to my mothers house with my daughter. She likes how everyone looks at us while we're driving. Just know I took my son for a drive to pick up some parts for a pushbike. During the week I drove it around to get coffee and do some shopping. I just thought I make you guys who are "under resoration" a little envious. Also, because I have the L.P.G fuel system fitted it costs half as much to run as it does on bnormal gasoline here. About as cheap as a 4 cylinder dollar wise. I drive the Bee heaps. Only last month it went to a car show 7 hours away. Regards, Peter
