Stripped all the hardware from one of the '71 R/T doors today...plan on stripping the other door tomorrow. The plan is to take the doors and the air grabber hood to get chemically stripped and then coated with a protectant on Saturday...
...then they're off to the bodyshop for metal restoration in preparation for mounting to the car.

Hooked up the new aluminum radiator and adjusted the clutch. Took the car to a little Charger get-together here. The car still has a few bugs, but I made it there and back. It was about a 40 mile round trip.

Removed driver side exhaust manifold because it was craked ( a SOB at an exhaust shop long time ago craked it ) On the proces broken the rear stud, the one with the barrel nut. does have around 7/16 of stud left, but dunno if will be able to remove it. Exhaust pipe is cracked too around the welding seam and I have a leak there. will buy one of those temporally patches that some auto parts and grocery stores have them to glued inside, because outise will be hard due the welding seam irregularity. Soon will have to replace all the exhaust from end to end ( is still the factory one from manifold to mufler ). wish me luck trying to remove the stud! I guess will use a visegrip ? By now added on it some brake fluid to try to penetrate the threads inside the head all night long

Drove my 73 first time sense 93 Sunday, not happy with the power so I'm swapping engines.
