Picked up the '71 R/T doors from the chem-strip place and dropped off the '71 air grabber hood to be stripped...
...and took the doors to a metal specialty shop for restoration. They're in pretty good condition, just a little bit of rust through in a couple of small patches, so it should be a simple job.

Today I pulled off the front bumper/valance and the rad. Probably Sunday I'm going to pull the engine and prime/paint the engine bay!

Ordered the front end suspension kit today from Orilley's. They had everything I needed except the Torsion Bar Dust Boots. So piece by piece, I ordered......
2 x Upper Ball Joint 2 x Lower Ball Joint 2 x Outer Tie Rod Ends 2 x Inner Tie Rod Ends 1 x Upper Inner Control Arm Bushing Kit (does both sides) 2 x Lower Inner Control Arm Bushing Kit 1 x Strut Rod Bushings 2 x Sway Bar Bushings 2 x Control Arm Bumpers Upper 2 x Control Arm Bumpers Lower 1 x Sway Bar End Link Kit
Grand Total -- $240
Not bad, not bad at all.

Removed and disassembled the front bumper/hideaway grille assemblies...took the assorted bumper brackets and hideways to get blasted and powdercoated (I'm blacking out the hideaways).

I rebuilt the heater box for my '71 using a gasket kit from detroitmuscletechnologies.com. The gasket kit is great. I was surprised by all of the junk and gunk inside there. I also disassembled the blower motor, lubricated the bearings and painted it. The whole box looks like new! Now, if I could only find the nuts to bolt the heater box to the firewall...

Picked up the airgrabber hood from the chem stripper...it's in great shape! Just a little bit of dent repairs and it'll be ready for zinc chromate & primer.
