hood hinge fixed. On the hood aligment job, pain got some damages, so I tell them to make some painting detail on all the front end at the same time since on the last paint job ( fixing the damages I got last year ) I didn't gots satisfied... I think I'll never get satisfied with the painting jobs around. Details are still around. I can see same "maps" left by bondo on last job... less noticeable now but still pressent spring front hanger frame section fixed inner fender welded still need some more body job fixing, but, well...

I don't think I ever posted about it, but I picked up a Ramcharger hood this past fall (Thanks Jim!). I have wanted one of these since I was a kid. I had a legitimate crack at one I could afford back in 1992, but decided not to buy it…a decision I have regretted since. When this one became available at a price I could afford, I bought it! #DancingBanana# #DancingBanana# #DancingBanana# #DancingBanana# #DancingBanana# #DancingBanana# So today I’m at the Walter P. Chrysler Club - Great Lakes Region (WPC-GLR) swap meet... wichargerguy.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=shows&thread=6015&page=1#41757...and was able to pick up a few things. I got a vacuum canister, and the air cleaner lid. The cleaner lid is like new (a nice used/resto, or a repro), and the vac. can is probably 95% perfect (good enough for who it’s for). May have a line on a vac. harness as well. I’m very happy about these purchases. Got them for less than "market" or ebay prices, no shipping, and I got to see the parts prior to purchase. I also renewed my Mopar Collectors Guide subscription and my Walter P. Chrysler Club National and Regional memberships (both an annual routine at this show). Picked up a TQ Strip Kit still shrink wrapped in the package, and a piece of ’79 300 dash trim. All and all, a very good day.

A guy that works for some place called Monster Garage stopped by to check out the Bee and give me a quote on painting it.

I missed that one S.D.B. What time did you see it? I parked by the tan entrance, and was an "Early Bird", as usual. In by 6:30am, done by 11:30 or so. Yes, I went around more than once.
Monster Garage....where are they located? Have you seen any of their work?
Despite it's roof problems, I thought that yellow '74 Dart for $2500 was a steal. I wish my son was just a little older. That would have been a great first car for him.
I'll try to get some pictures of those parts tonight, guys. Been working a lot of extra hours this month, and not getting home until late.

I came in at 11am. The car was right on the front corner after passsing the toll booths. Since I'm looking to sell, not buy I didn't bother with the early bird thing. Wish I'd had a few extra bucks though as all the former Ramchargers were there autographing their new book. I thought the Petty Blue Dart looked pretty good too!

Did you have a table there? I saw the Ram Chargers. It was cool that they were there, and that Mancini's arranged for them to be there. I'm not a huge autograph hound, but I have a few. I'd have loved to stop and talk to them, but to be honest, my knowledge of drag racing history is near zilch, and I just would not have been able to carry on an intelligent conversation with them. I must have missed the Charger. I saw the Dodge fire truck chassis sitting at that corner for sale. And yes, the Petty blue Dart was sharp. I liked the 16k original mile 100 van sitting next to it too. Speaking of Mancini's, one of the parts I bought came from Dave at their trailer. He had this Ram Charger hood air cleaner lid, which I picked up. I also bought a TQ strip kit from him, still sealed. The last item I got for the Charger was the vacuum can for the Ram Charger hood. And you were right Mike. The bracket is clamped on, not spot welded as I thought. Lastly, I picked up this '79 300 trim piece to use for a little customizing project I have in mind for the Cordoba.
