Yep, that's the one. How long did it take you to find it? 45 minutes to find it and 20 minutes to get it out. Chrysler stuck them in the dumbest and hardest places.

Chrysler stuck them in the dumbest and hardest places. Was it sandwiched between the steering column and a heat/ac duct? Some C bodies are like that...and attempting to get to them, I have dropped several 5/16 sockets down the duct. Others require removing the top speaker grille others are behind the passenger side of dash others near left kick panel others right at fuse box others behind dash near climate controls our cars, near ash tray. Definitely no standard location....finding them is always fun.

I have dropped several 5/16 sockets down the duct. I can testify at least one 1/4" socket!!! and one car getting a broken AC box because that

Definitely no standard location....finding them is always fun. Steering column and that stupid heater duct. I ripped out the whole dash and wires and then I seen it. I poked and ripped at that duct work until I could get a 4 inch extention on that one stupid screw. I still got it for 10 bucks.

Forgot to mention I did not loose any sockets just skin off my hands.

I was afraid that would be the location of the relay. Even when you finally see it, getting it out is a royal pain in the rear. 1/4 inch drive ratchet, with deep 5/16 is just a wee bit too shallow. Add an extension....and you are all over that duct. I have managed to rip out the duct sometimes, but that is easier said than done. Usually it requires a small blood donation on my part. I have been less prone to get them ever since I had my neck fusion. I'll get the easier ones...and let the harder to get ones stay. Test the thing off the car...... about 50% of the ones I get, don't work. The circuit breakers go bad more frequently that the relay itself. And the good news is that I have a bunch of the circuit breakers.

One day at JY, I dropped 3 of them "down the chute" in about 5 minutes. I finally started carrying a 1/4 flex/universal in my tool bag to make things easier.

What's the little box attached to the relay and what/how does it work?

The little box is a circuit breaker. It simply opens up if circuit amperage is too high. I think it's rated at 5 amps...might be 10.
