Well, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed and I'm no NACHO but I just ordered a multi meter . It's just about time that I at least deal with the basics of my chargers electrical . I purchased a mastech multi meter 30 dollars at Amazon . The final straw was when I was talking to tech support about purchasing a higher performance ignition coil . The support person asked me what my current coil was rated at. It's less frustrating more productive when you can answer the basics. Sent from my PC36100 using proboards

A quick google/amazon search of that name...those are some nice looking meters. It's amazing how inexpensive feature laden meters have become. It's a tool you'll use the rest of your car tinkering life.
Were they asking about coil resistance, or coil output?

The Coil resistance currently in the car. The ballast resistor is a mopar performance 1 ohm resistor. I'm gonna check it when the meter comes in. Then ill know the basics . Than he can give me an idea of what coil would be ok for my application. I was talking to the folks that make flame thrower coils. Pertronics. Sent from my PC36100 using proboards
