websurfing his website it seems he actually doesn't calibrate speedos. Is not on his labor offers at least. Just lubrication

got a ratio for a calibration... 1000 Rpms --> 60 MpH
Somebody called Randy Reddig sent me an email. Also got that same ratio from moparts
I can keep the speedo reading for 15 minutes maybe and confirm the odometer too... should get 15 miles on odo.
Of course, converted to Kilo ( 96.5 KpH )

my home made work bench. I didn't have a 1K RPMs driller reverse speed... All what I could find is my old and tired 550 RPMs. So since I can't trust on the actuall speed of the old driller. Just made aprox. lets make the kilos conversion 60 MPH is 96.5 KPH ----> 1000 RPMs but having a 550 RPMs drill makes ---> 53.1 KPH ( aprox 33 MPH ) I could notice how the drill changed speed allong his use ( made it several times ) but not bad. Would need to get a constant and safe drill or dremmel, because I can't keep my drill spinning for long time... due the heat. after several tries got 4.4 Km at Odo in 5 minutes with needle just below the middle of the 50 and 60 marks. That could be 53 or 54 Kph... NOT BAD! huh ? would be nice now try to find some other RPMs drill rate with Reverse speed and make another test at dif speed

And I thought a connection between the speedo & drill would be the hard part :-( A variable timing light (adjustable strobe) would be my next part to add to this test bench! In light of what you said, A tired 550rpm drive may only be producing 500 rpm?!
As always: the take off gearing ratios for the odometer is a must know part of your documentation for me!

Hello Nacho. Do you still have 240km/h speedo? I'm from EU and I with pleasure would buy it from you. Of course if you want to sell it.

Resurrecting an old thread After all these years made to get another kilo speedo but wasn't at my city, so had to be shipped. Arrived damaged too apparently on shipping. Thanks to Bob I got a 150 miles speedo. It was somehow stuck at input drive but bushing was perfect. Working on it made to make it spin freely. So dissasembled the one Bob sent me and the one I had and found the driveshaft wom were the same threads! What I made is transplant all the kilo pieces ( gears, odometer and face ) onto the originally miles speedo! Finally got a non fixed speedo, just reassemblied with the required parts to make it work on kilometers. That it was maybe 3 or 4 months ago. AAAAAAND! Today a graphic designer made a red line decal to hide the yellowed line! I didn't need a full face just the red line touched up
